Minority Enterprise Development Week
"Energizing the American Economy with Minority Business Enterprises"
Raleigh, North Carolina
September 28 - October 2, 2009
Since 1983, the U.S. President has proclaimed a national MED Week observance to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of minority business enterprises and to honor those corporations and financial institutions supporting minority business development. Raleighs MED Week celebrates the achievements of minority entrepreneurs and affirms government, business and community organizations' commitment to the principle of equal opportunity.
The mission of Minority Enterprise Development Week in the Greater Raleigh area is to recognize and celebrate the contributions of minority and women businesses to the economic vibrancy of our community and promote their continued growth and success. Through a series of educational outreach and networking events, we proudly support the development of diverse businesses.
