The First American Corporate Leadership Award was presented to NC Native Business Professional Lori Winfree, Lumbee, and OracleSoftware Corp, for their technology solutions provided to American Indian businesses leading to successful commerce. The honor was given out during an awards ceremony held during the 2009 INPRO Conference hosted by  the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development  in Tulsa, Ok.

Winfree is the Application Sales Manager that handles Native Tribes & Casinos, and accepted the award on behalf Oracle. "As a Native American employee of Oracle, I am proud of the solutions that Oracle delivers in Indian Country and the commitment we have to be a part of the Native American Community. I am honored by NCAIED's recognition of that commitment" quoted from Winfree. Along time advocate for native advancement in North Carolina, Winfree will continue working with tribal entities, and hopes to make a difference in the determing the future of tribal enterprise development nationally.

NCIEDI Program Manager Christina Theodorou, Lumbee was also honored in NCAIED's 40 Under 40 Award Category.
